Phil and Tania Tanner founded Tanner Fencing in the 1990's. Following Phil and Tania's move to Gisborne, they sold the business to Tony and Wendy Burgess in 2007.

Tony and Wendy immediately started building on the success the business had enjoyed so far by expanding the range of products available by including Gramline, BDT fencing and pool and security fencing.
